Students continued watching Cinderella Man.
Wednesday
Students finished Cinderella Man. The questions were stamped for full credit.
Thursday
Students took notes on the Effects of the Great Depression in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students were assigned the 1930s Alphabet Soup Can. Each student will be given a New Deal to research. Please follow the directions carefully and if you were absent, make sure to check which New Deal act was assigned to you. This will be due at the BEGINNING of the period on Tuesday, December 17th. NO LATE SOUP CANS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Students were also handed the Great Depression/New Deal Study Guide. It is not worth points, but recommended to complete before finals next week. |
For those that missed multiple days of Cinderella Man, you will need to complete the Great Depression One-Pager as an alternative assignment. This will be due in place of the Cinderella Man movie questions. It is due with Notebook Check 8, which is due tomorrow.

Friday
Students took notes on FDR and the New Deal in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students listened to FDR's Fireside Chat and answered the questions to go with it. The questions do not need to be stamped. Afterwards, students had the remainder of the period to work on submitting Notebook Check 8.
As a reminder, today is the last day to turn in any and all work from the semester. All work, including Notebook Check 8, is due by 11:59 p.m. into Canvas. If you have any late work to turn in that is NOT a part of the notebook check, simply take a picture and email it to me. |
