Monday

Students took notes on 'JFK Foreign Policy' in the right hand side of their notebook. They also completed the Cuban Missile Crisis Worksheet. The worksheet does not need to be stamped, but needs to be completed. Be sure to watch the 'Be Castro, Be Kennedy and Be Khrushchev' videos in order to complete the worksheet.

Tuesday

Students were show pictures from the Berlin Wall as well as Cuba. After, students took notes on The Korean War. There were fill-in notes to go with it, but remember, the fill-in notes need to have two types of interactions in order to earn full credit.

Wednesday
|
Students watched Inside North Korea: Then and Now. It is available for free, with minimal ads, on YouTube. There are no questions to go with the documentary.

Thursday
|
Students completed Vietnam, Consumable Pages 386-387, using pages 584-591 of the new textbook (the one you do have at home). It was stamped for full credit.

Friday
|
Students completed Vietnam War, Part 2, fill-in notes. Fill-in notes still need two types of interactions in order to earn full credit. Students can use the Draft Lottery link to see if they would have been drafted during the Vietnam War. After, students submitted Notebook Check 5, via Canvas.
