American Revolution Storyboard Example

Tuesday

Students continued to work on their American Revolution Storyboard. It was stamped for full credit by the end of the period.

Wednesday

creating a nation notes
constitution foldable directions
Students took notes on Creating a Nation in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students were assigned the Constitution Foldable. Please follow the directions carefully. If students did not finish it today, they will finish it tomorrow. It will be stamped for full credit.

*The page numbers on the direction are for the old textbook (which you do not have). If you're at home, you can just look this information up in your new textbook. Use the index.

Thursday

microsoft Lens directions
capitals practice
states practice
Students finished their Constitution Foldable if they did not finish it yesterday. It was stamped for full credit. Afterwards, students submitted Notebook Check 1 via Canvas. Please follow the Microsoft Lens directions. ALL notebook checks must be submitted as a singular PDF. If not, it will be a zero and you will need to resubmit. Also, check the Notebook Check List to make sure you are getting your full points.

Tomorrow's states/capitals test was explained to students once again. As a reminder, you will get a word bank of all 50 states and capitals, but they will not match. You will get a blank map that is randomly numbered. You will need to write the correct state and capital next to each number. Yes, this means you will need to know where each state and capital go on the map in order to get full points.

Friday

Students took their States/Capitals test. Students were given the entire period to take their test. If for whatever reason you were absent today, you have until Monday, September 8th to make up the test. Failure to do so will result in an automatic zero on the exam. You must make up the test on your own time (lunch, after school, etc.)
