Students took notes on Reconstruction, part 1. We will finish the notes tomorrow. After, students worked in their groups on the Reconstruction Packet/Answer Sheet. Students will decide as a group whether or not African Americans were free during Reconstruction. If a student was absent today, you can join a group tomorrow. If you will be absent today and tomorrow, you'll need to complete the Reconstruction Answer Sheet on your own.

Tuesday

Students got back together in their groups to continue to work on the Reconstruction Packet/Answer sheet. It was stamped for full credit. Afterwards, groups shared out their response as to whether or not African-Americans were free during the period of Reconstruction. After, students finished up their Reconstruction notes.
*If you were absent today, but here yesterday, you'll need to finish up the Reconstruction Answer Sheet on your own. |

Students were assigned the Gilded Age Jigsaw. Please take notes on your assigned section first before looking at the directions.

Students worked on their Gilded Age Jigsaw.
Friday
Students continued to work on their Gilded Age Jigsaw. Assignments for the Gilded Age Jigsaw were turned into me before the end of the period.
