Monday
Students began watching 12 Years a Slave. We will finish the movie on Wednesday. There are a set of questions to go along with the movie. You can answer them as we go or at the end of the film, whichever you prefer.
If you are absent, the movie is available to rent on Amazon. Students who do not have permission to watch Rated R movies received an alternative assignment. |
Tuesday
Students continued watching 12 Years a Slave.
Wednesday
Students finished watching 12 Years a Slave. Afterwards, the movie questions were stamped for full credit.
Thursday
Students took their 27 amendments test. Again, the test is 30 questions, all multiple choice. If you missed the test, you must make it up by 9/27. If you fail to make up the test, it is an automatic zero.
Friday
Students took notes on Reconstruction, part 1. We will finish the notes on Monday. After, students worked in their groups on the Reconstruction Packet/Answer Sheet. Students will decide as a group whether or not African Americans were free during Reconstruction. If you were absent, you will complete the assignment on your own.
