Monday
Students took their Gilded Age Quiz and turned in their Gilded Age notes. Afterwards, students worked on the Progressive Era Problem assignment.

Tuesday
Students went over how to write a thesis and took notes sporadically in the right hand side of their notebook. Since the next unit will end with an essay exam, it is important that students understand what a proper thesis statement should do.

Wednesday
Students took notes on the Progressive Era and Women's Suffrage on slides 1-2 and slides 13-22 on the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students were handed the Women's Suffrage DBQ to be completed in the left hand side of the notebook. The teacher explained how to integrate a source into a paragraph and how to bring outside information in to strengthen an argument. The paragraph will be stamped for full credit at the beginning of the period tomorrow.

Thursday
Students turned in their Women's Suffrage DBQ to be stamped for full credit. Afterwards, students began watching Iron Jawed Angels. Students were handed movie questions to go along with it. If a student was absent, the movie is linked on YouTube on the left.

Students finished Iron Jawed Angels.
