Monday
Students took notes in the right hand side of their notebook on Growth and Conflict in America following the ratification of the Constitution. Students then worked on the Social Reform Movements Graphic Organizer. It will be stamped for full credit. Students were also given a permission slip for 12 Years a Slave. The movie is rated R and some of the content is graphic. It is based on a true story. Permission Slips are due on Friday, September 13th. If a parent or guardian does not wish for their child to see the movie, an alternative assignment will be given.

Tuesday
Students were handed directions for the Civil War Timeline. Please follow the directions accordingly. Students will have access to colored paper, construction paper, colored pencils, crayons, markers, etc. to create their timeline, however, if they choose to, they may use outside materials. Timelines will be due at the end of the period on Friday, September 13th.

Wednesday
Students took their amendments test. If a student was not here, they have a week to make up the test on their own time. For studying materials for this test, they are in the 9/2-9/6 tab on Wednesday.
Thursday
Students continued to work on their Civil War Timeline. The deadline for the timeline has been extended to the beginning of the period on Monday, September 16th.
Friday
Students worked on their Civil War Timeline and Notebook Check 2. The notebook is due by the end of the period.
