Monday

gilded age notes directions
Students began presenting their Gilded Age Jigsaw presentations. We will go in order of the list given to students last Wednesday. Students will take notes on the each of the presentations. Please review the directions to figure out how to set up your notes. 

Tuesday

Students finished presenting and taking notes on the Gilded Age Jigsaw. 

Wednesday

progressive era problem
Students turned in their Gilded Age Notes and took their Gilded Age Quiz. If you were absent, you must make up the quiz by 10/14. Afterwards, students completed the Progressive Era Problem assignment. 

Thursday

how to write a thesis
Students took notes and did a class activity on How to Write a Thesis. No need to copy down the examples throughout the PowerPoint. 

Friday

the progressive era/women's suffrage lecture and notes
how to integrate a document into your writing lecture (no need to take notes)
Students took notes on the Progressive Era/ Women's Suffrage. Afterwards, the class went over how to integrate a document into their writing to prepare for their upcoming DBQ's.
