1/11-1/15

Monday

Teacher work day, no school for students.

Tuesday

The teacher will go over course expectations for the semester. Please check the updated syllabus in the Syllabus section of your Canvas page. The Zoom recording of this class can be found in the Announcements Section of your Canvas page.

Wednesday

Picture
This is an example as to what your Phocabulary should look like.
Students will complete Phocabulary: WWII on the following terms:
1) Fascism

2) Internationalism
3) Appeasement
4) Blitzkrieg
5) Holocaust
6) Concentration Camp
7) Extermination Camp
8) Strategic Materials

Remember, this will be completed in 3 columns: the word, definition and a picture in color (just like in the image to the left). Points will be taken off if your pictures are not colored. This MUST be done by hand, NOT on the computer. All of the words, except for Blitzkrieg and Holocaust, will be found in the glossary section of your textbook. Submit to Canvas when completed.

Thursday

between the wars packet
between the wars country assignment list
Students were assigned the Between the Wars Packet. The first page requires students to research a country and what that country experienced during the 1920s and 1930s. ALL STUDENTS HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A COUNTRY. Please look at the list to see which country you have been assigned.

The next two pages of the packet requires students to research a dictator. Students can choose which dictator they wish to research.

This will be due on Tuesday, January 19th. Students will have today, tomorrow and next Tuesdays class period to work on this. My advice would be to complete a page a day.

This is an individual assignment. Although multiple students have been assigned the same country, they are not expected to work on this together.

The Zoom recording of this class can be found in the Announcements section of your Canvas page.

Friday

Students continued to work on the Between the Wars Packet.
