Students will watch Cinderella Man. To watch it FOR FREE, students will need to create an account with Peacock, NBC's new streaming service. They DO NOT ask for credit card information. Simply enter the email address of your choice and create a password in order to create an account. After, you'll type in Cinderella Man into the search box and the movie will pop up (just like the image on the left). You'll click on the movie where you then can select 'watch now.' There are about 6, 1-minute commercials that will pop up while watching the movie (hence why it's free). If that is going to bother you, then you can pay for the movie on Amazon or YouTube.
This will be homework. Please watch it either today or over the weekend. You will have an assignment to go along with the movie on Monday. Universally, this is my students favorite movie I show during the school year. *As of now, Peacock TV will not work on a school device. To access Peacock TV, you will need to use your personal device, Smart TV or download the app on your phone to watch it. I have emailed our tech guy at the district, but he has yet to get back to me. When he does, I will send out a Remind or let you know in class on 12/7. |
