Monday
Students will be watching Dunkirk in class. There are no questions to go with the movie. If you are interested in watching the movie, it is available on HBO Max and you can rent it on Amazon, YouTube as well as AppleTV.
Tuesday
Students finished Dunkirk.
Wednesday
Students took notes on U.S. Enters the War, Part 1. Afterwards, students completed the 4 Freedoms Worksheet. COMPLETE ONLY THE FIRST PAGE! If students do not finish it, the 4 Freedoms Worksheet will be homework and I will stamp it tomorrow for full credit.

Thursday
Students took notes on U.S. Enters the War, Part 2. Afterwards, students completed the Imperial Japan Question using the Imperial Japan Documents. For those of you who are new this semester, please look at the 'How to Cite a Document' lecture and guidelines. It is NECESSARY moving forward in my class this semester. New students also received the Marking the Text/SOAP Method Bookmark.

PLEASE WATCH THE 'HOW TO INTEGRATE A DOCUMENT INTO YOUR WRITING' LECTURE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NEW! You will have a VERY difficult time writing in my class if you do not know how to properly cite a document in your writing.

Friday
Students took notes on the U.S. Enters the War, Part 3. Students also watched a clip from Pearl Harbor. Students were given the WWII Quiz Study Guide. The WWII Quiz will take place on Tuesday, February 1st. It will be 10 multiple choice questions and 4 free response questions. Students will have a majority of the period on Monday to work on the study guide. The study guide will be turned in for credit, but cannot be used on the quiz.
