12/7-12/11

Monday

*Please check your school email (@leusd.k12.ca.us) for a scheduled Parent/Student Square going out regarding late work and finals.

Students will be writing a review for Cinderella Man. This needs to be a typed, minimum one-page, double spaced paper. It will be ran thru Turnitin.com, so be sure that your work is your own! Your review will include the following:
  • Description/summary of the movie. Be sure to include what happens at the beginning, middle and end of the movie. Describe the main characters as well.
  • Give two specific examples from the movie that demonstrates the struggles Americans faced during the Great Depression.
  • Your overall thoughts on the movie. Did you like it? Did you not like it? Why or why not.
When finished, students will upload the review to Canvas for credit. The directions for how to watch the movie for free can be found under 'Content for the Week of 11/30-12/4' under Friday.

Tuesday

*All work being assigned for the rest of the semester, beginning today, must be submitted to Canvas by Tuesday, December 15th by the end of the day or it will be a zero. NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Great Depression/New Deal Study Guide
Students listened to one of FDR's fireside chats and answered the questions to go along with it. Students will submit the answers into Canvas for credit.

If you were not in class, be sure to look at the 'Preparing For The Final' PowerPoint. The PPT gives details about next weeks final as well as semester grades.

This is your study guide for your final next week. It will not be turned in for credit and it cannot be used on your test, however, I would highly recommend that you complete it as it'll give you a good overview as to what the final is going to look like.

Today is the last day I am accepting any and all late work for the semester. Be sure to submit work into Canvas by 11:59 pm at the latest. Email me when you have have submitted that work or it will not be graded!

*The Zoom recording of this class can be found in the Announcements section of your Canvas page (Zoom Class, 12/11).
