Monday

Students will answer the Imperial Japan Question in a text box entry form and submit it to Canvas for credit. You will need to use the Imperial Japan Document to help form a response and cite the two documents in your response. Remember to cite properly.

Example:
1) According to Doc A, Japan was losing materials.
  • This is NOT how you cite a document properly. 
2) From 1937-1941, Japan was losing resources (Doc A).
  • This is how you properly cite a document, at the END of the sentence, in parentheses.

Tuesday

Students will listen to the U.S. Enters the War, Part 3, take notes, interact with them and submit them into Canvas for credit. Students will also watch a clip from Pearl Harbor.​

Wednesday

Students had the period to work on their WWII Quiz Study Guide. Although it will not be submitted to Canvas for credit, students are highly encouraged to complete the study guide for their quiz tomorrow. It will be a total of 10 multiple choice questions and 4 free response questions. The quiz will be timed at 25 minutes. 

Thursday

Students will take their WWII Quiz in Canvas. The quiz will be a total of 10 multiple choice questions and 4 free response questions. A time limit of 25 minutes will be set for the quiz. If for some reason you fail to take the quiz during your class period, you will have until next Thursday to make it up on your own time. Failure to take the quiz within the week time frame will result in an automatic zero for the quiz. 

Friday

Today is a free period for students. They can work on work for another class, work on missing assignments for my class or just relax and take it easy.
