Students will begin watching Hiroshima, "Episode 1." There are questions to go with the documentary. Students will be turning in the questions after Episode 1. If you are absent, you will watch the documentary on your own. Please turn the questions into Miss Montesinos upon your return or email them to her at [email protected].

If you do not want to watch the Zoom recording of the episodes, they are available for purchase on Amazon: $1.99 per episode or $2.99 for the season. If you miss both episodes in class, it is cheaper to just buy the season than it is to buy each individual episode.

Wednesday

marking the text
Students continued to work on annotating their Atomic Bomb Documents. Remember, you MUST follow all aspects of the Marking the Text Bookmark (except for Step 5: putting a cloud around words you don't know) in order to earn full credit for your annotations. 

Thursday

Students worked on their Atomic Bomb Essay. If you would like to review the Essay Tips, Directions or 'How to Write a Thesis Statement,' please go to the 'Content of the Week for 2/21-2/25' under Thursday. 

Friday

Students continued to work on their Atomic Bomb Essay. As a reminder, essays are due by Sunday, March 6th by 11:59 p.m. via Canvas. Any late essay will automatically be deducted 25%. All students will need to bring in a hard copy of their essay on Monday, March 7th along with their annotated Atomic Bomb Documents. 

Students will also submit Notebook Check 4 via Canvas.
