Monday
Students were given some class announcements and a few review questions of the Cold War. Students then participated in an extra credit activity. There is no need to make up the activity if you were absent.
Students then answered the McCarthy Questions in the left hand side of their notebook. There is no need to write down the questions, but your responses should be in complete sentences. This will not be stamped, but should be completed. |
Tuesday
Students took notes on the Red Scare, Part 1. There are fill-in notes to go along with the lecture. Even though they are fill-in notes, you still need to have two interactions with the notes.
After, students analyzed two Red Scare Cartoons and completed the Red Scare Worksheet to go along with it. You will need to analyze each cartoon for each question. You can simply put CA: and CB: to distinct from the two cartoons. It will be stamped for full credit. If students do not finish it today, they will have time tomorrow in class to complete it. |
Wednesday
Students took notes on the Red Scare, Part 2. There are fill-in notes to go along with the lecture. Even though they are fill-in notes, you still need to have two interactions with the notes.
Afterwards, students finished the Red Scare Cartoons Worksheet from yesterday. It was stamped for full credit. |
Thursday
Students took notes on 1950s Culture in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students watched "Job Switching" I Love Lucy. There are no questions to go along with it. The episode is available on Paramount Plus to watch.
