Students took notes on '1950s Culture' in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students watched "Job Switching" I Love Lucy. There are no questions to go along with it. The episode is available on Paramount Plus to watch.
Students then watched "Smoke Get in Your Eyes" the first episode from Mad Men. There are no questions to go along with it. The episode is available for free, with ads, on Pluto TV. Students were given their Atomic Bomb Essays back as well as their Cold War Study Guide. As always, it cannot be used on the test, however, it is a good idea to complete it so students know what to expect on the test. |
Wednesday
Students worked on their Cold War Study Guide.
Thursday/Friday
Students played Cold War Jeopardy as a review for the test. Afterwards, students took their test. It is a mix of short answer and multiple choice. If you missed the test, you have until April 24th to make it up or it is an automatic zero. Anytime after school or Wednesday morning (the 22nd) at 8:30am in my classroom will work.
