Monday

Students watched "Smoke Get in Your Eyes" the first episode from Mad Men. There are no questions to go along with it. The episode is available for free, with ads, to watch on Amazon. 

Tuesday

Students worked on their Study Guide for the Cold War Test. It will not be turned in for credit, but is highly recommended that you complete it. The test will be 5 Historical ID's, 10 multiple choice questions and 1 free response. 

Wednesday

Students took their Cold War Exam. Afterwards, they began to work on the 'Racism Today' assignment in Canvas. Please follow the directions carefully. It is due by the end of the day. 

Thursday

Students took notes on the 'Origins of Civil Rights, part 1.' We will continue these notes tomorrow. Afterwards, students began to read an excerpt from Warriors Don't Cry by Melba Beals, the youngest member of the Little Rock Nine. There are questions to go along with the excerpt. They will be stamped tomorrow for full credit. 

Friday

Students continued their 'Origins of Civil Rights' notes. Afterwards, students finished their Warriors Don't Cry questions. They were stamped for full credit. Afterwards, students submitted Notebook Check 6 via Canvas.
