Monday
Students watched "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," the first episode of Mad Men to reacquaint students with 1950s culture. The show and episode are available on Amazon Prime.
This Friday is Ms. Montesinos' last day student teaching in our classroom. Please read the announcement as assignments assigned by Ms. Montesinos will NOT be graded by me once she leaves. So, if there is an assignment you need to make up, you MUST do so by this Friday, 4/22 or the assignment is an automatic zero. |
Tuesday
Using pages 524-528 of the text book, students completed JFK and the New Frontier. It was stamped for full credit.
We will have a Cold War test this Friday. Students were given the study guide today. Although the study guide will not be turned in for credit, students are encouraged to complete it to study for their exam. |
Wednesday
Students watched Buzzfeed Unsolved "The JFK Assassination." There are no questions to go along with it.

Students played Jeopardy the first hour of class. Afterwards, students took their Cold War Test. Students also had the opportunity to work on and turn in Notebook Check 7. If you missed taking the test, you have until 4/29 to make it up or it is an automatic zero.
