5/18-5/22

Monday

watergate powerpoint
mock trial packet
Students will be participating in the Mock Trial of Richard Nixon. Please view the Watergate Powerpoint to figure out what your role will be. Although I have the entire packet posted here, each person, based on their role, will be completing different portions of the packet. If absent today, please see me to get the packet that you need.

Richard Nixon: Complete the facts sheet and final statement. Both will be done individually.

Prosecuting Attorneys: You will individually complete the Richard Nixon Facts Sheet, but as a group, you will complete the opening statement.

Defense Attorneys: You will individually complete the Richard Nixon Facts Sheet, but as a group, you will complete the opening statement.

Jury: You will individually complete the Jury sheet and summary of research.

*Scroll down to Page 12 of the packet to click the links for the research.

All Warren Court Graphic Organizers were stamped for full credit if it was not done last week.

Tuesday

Students continued to work on their packet for the Richard Nixon Mock Trial. The trial will take place Thursday.

Wednesday

Students continued to work on their packet for the Richard Nixon Mock Trial. Prosecuting and Defense attorneys shared their list of 10 questions to ask Nixon.

Thursday

richard nixon mock trial alternative assignment
The Richard Nixon Mock Trial took place. Jurors were given a packet they needed to fill out. If absent, you will need to complete the alternative assignment.

PERIOD 1- ANYONE HERE LATER THAN 8:35AM CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIAL AND YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE ALTERNATIVE ASSIGNMENT.

If anyone is late in any other class period, you will need to complete the alternative assignment.

The alternative assignment must be turned in on Sunday, May 24th, for full credit. Anything after that will be late.

Friday

ford/carter foreign policy
final study guide
Students took notes on Ford/Carter in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students were given their study guide for the final. It will not be collected for points, but it is HIGHLY recommended that students complete it. My advice is to fill in what you know first on the study guide before using your notebook to look up the other information.
