anti-vietnam war song directions
Students continued to work on their Anti-Vietnam War Song. Please be sure to have your lyrics printed for tomorrow's performance.

Students performed their Anti-Vietnam War Songs. 

Wednesday

racism/civil rights today
Please follow the directions carefully for the Civil Rights Today prompt. This will be turned into me separately.  

Thursday

origins of civil rights, part 1 lecture/notes
warriors don't cry excerpt
warriors don't cry questions
Students began to take notes on the Origins of Civil Rights. We will finish these notes up tomorrow. 

Afterwards, students read an excerpt from Warriors Don't Cry, a memoir by Melba Beals, the youngest member of the Little Rock Nine. Students will answer a set of questions to go with the excerpt. The questions will be stamped for full credit. 

Friday

origins of civil rights, part 2 lecture/notes
Students finished taking notes on the Origins of Civil Rights.

Afterwards, if students did not finish reading Warriors Don't Cry and answering the questions to go with it, students will finish that today. The answers to the questions will be stamped for full credit.
