The teacher went over the syllabus and course expectations for the semester.

Students completed the egg drop.
Wednesday

Students created an account with College Raptor and filled in the information asked. Students created a top ten list of colleges they are interested in going to. The list needs to include colleges based on the College Raptor profile, but the list can also include colleges students are interested in, but did not pop up on the list. Students will show the teacher the list by the end of the period.

Thursday
|
Based on yesterday's top ten list, students will pick 3 of the colleges to create a college jacket on. Students will need 3 copies of each page. You will pair each page together in order to make a college jacket. Students will have the next few days in class to complete their jackets. They will be due on Tuesday, August 31st.

Students continued to work on their college jackets.
