Monday
Students finished taking notes on the Bill of Rights PPT (amendments 8-10). Afterwards, students were given a list of all 27 amendments. On Tuesday, September 21st, students will take a 30 question, multiple choice test on all 27 amendments. To the left, are some study tools students can use to study for the test.

For the second part of class, students completed Phocabulary: Constitution on the following terms in the left hand side of their notebook:
1) Popular Sovereignty 2) Federalism 3) Enumerated Powers 4) Reserved Powers 5) Concurrent Powers 6) Cabinet 7) Judicial Review 8) Due Process All definitions can be found in the glossary section of your textbook. This will be stamped by the end of the period for full credit. |

Tuesday
Students completed the social reform movements graphic organizer. It was stamped for full credit by the end of the period. This is the last assignment going into this weeks notebook check. Students can turn in the notebook beginning now until Friday at 11:59 p.m. for full credit.

Students were assigned the Civil War Timeline. Please read the directions carefully. The timeline will be due by the end of the class period on Monday, September 20th.
