Students began watching 12 Years a Slave. We will finish the movie on Wednesday. There are a set of questions to go along with the movie. You can answer them as we go or at the end of the film, whichever you prefer.
If you are absent, the movie is available to watch on HBO Max or to rent on Amazon. |

Students finished watching 12 Years a Slave. The questions were stamped for full credit. If questions were not stamped today, they will be stamped tomorrow.
Thursday

Students took notes on Reconstruction, part 1. We will finish the notes tomorrow. After, students worked in their groups on the Reconstruction Packet/Answer Sheet. Students will decide as a group whether or not African Americans were free during Reconstruction.

Friday

Students finished their Reconstruction notes. Afterwards, students continued to work in their groups on the Reconstruction Packet, Answer Sheet and overall questions as to whether or not African Americans were free during Reconstruction. Groups will share their answers with the class.
