Distance Learning Info

Distance Learning Information

Distance Learning Information (Video)
The video will explain distance learning and how my class will work for the rest of the semester. Some of the highlights:
  • Any work assigned prior and due up until March 13th is in the grade book.
  • All grades in Infinite Campus are semi-final. If a student is happy with their grade, they are not required to do any work for the remainder of the semester and will keep the grade they currently have.
  • Students may choose to raise their grade by completing new assignments over the next 9 weeks. These assignments can only raise a students grade, not decrease it.
For more details, be sure to watch the video as it will give an in-depth explanation as to what students need to do if they wish to raise their grade.

Zoom Meetings

Zoom meetings
If students and/or parents would like to video conference rather than email, please email me to schedule a time when we can meet on Zoom. There are times I will send out through Remind windows of when I will be on Zoom for students and/or parents to chat, say hi or just ask questions about the assignments, so if you haven't, I would suggest joining Remind. Information on how to join can be found under the Contact section of my website.

First Social Distancing Assignment

Picture
Before Spring Break, we had been working on Notebook Check 4, which was meant to be due the week we came back. Because of this, it will be our first distance learning assignment. In order to receive 50 points, you MUST have ALL of the assignments completed (colored pictures with your Phocabulary, notes interacted with, etc.). If an assignment does not have a stamp, that is OK. If you are missing one of the assignments, please check the 3/9-3/13 tab for the work. Please email me pictures of all 5 assignments by Saturday, April 11th at 11:59 p.m. Again, if I email you back, one of the assignments is not completed and you will receive no credit until the mistake is fixed.
