Election Project

2024 Mock Election

Voting is one of the most important things you will do as a citizen of the United States. It is important to be informed of the issues around you and vote for what you think is best, whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent or a member of the Green Party. As a result, our class, Mr. Lovingood's and Mr. Andrew's classes will be creating campaign posters, flyers and speeches in support of either a candidate or a proposition in the 2024 California Election. The entire school will then vote on November 5th, Election Day, in a school wide mock election. Below, you will find the directions for this assignment as well as the candidate or proposition you have been assigned. This project will be assigned on Thursday, September 26th and will be due at the end of the day on Wednesday, October 23rd (for speeches) and Thursday, October 24th (for campaign posters and flyers). You will need to complete the majority of this project outside of class. NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
