8/28-9/1

Monday

declaration of independence worksheet
Students completed the Declaration of Independence Worksheet. It was turned directly into the sub and NOT a part of the notebook check. It is due by the end of the period.

Tuesday

creation a nation notes
shay's rebellion worksheet
Students took notes on 'Creating a Nation.' Afterwards, students read about Shay's Rebellion and answered the corresponding questions. The questions were stamped for full credit.

Wednesday

constitution foldable directions
Students completed the Constitution Foldable. Please follow the directions carefully. All terms and information can be found in your textbook at home.

Thursday

the constitution and compromise notes
Students took notes on 'The Constitution and Compromise' in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students had time to finish their foldables from yesterday and have them stamped for full credit as well as study for their states/capitals test tomorrow.

Friday

u.s. map quiz practice
Students took their States/Capital test. The map will be randomly numbered from 1-50. Students will need to know where each state and capital goes on the map in order to earn full points. Students will receive a word bank for the states and capitals. If any student is absent, they need to make up the test by Monday, September 11th or it will be an automatic zero. Remember, you must make up the test on your own time as we will not have time in class to make it up.

As a reminder, students can grab extra copies of the blank U.S. Map in my room to practice/study or use the website linked.
