Tuesday

Creating a Nation notes
Constitution Foldable Directions
On Tuesday, students took notes on Creating a Nation (slides 2-15) in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, students worked on the Constitution Foldable. It will be stamped for full credit on Thursday. To create a foldable, you'll need 6 sheets of paper or you can see me next time you're in class and I will give you a foldable. Follow the directions for how to complete it.  

Wednesday

Bill of Rights Notes
27 amendments

How to remember the 27 amendments video
On Wednesday, students took notes on the Bill of Rights in the right hand side of their notebook. Afterwards, they were given a list of all 27 amendments to the Constitution. There will be a test on all of the amendments on Wednesday, September 11th. It will be 30 questions, multiple choice. There is an amendments worksheet that can be used to help study/learn the amendments. It is a no credit assignment. You can also watch "How to Remember the 27 Amendments" video for help. 

Thursday

Slavery Grievance Excerpts
Slavery Grievance Graphic Organizer
Students had their Constitution Foldable stamped for full credit. Afterwards, students worked on the Slavery Grievance Graphic Organizer. Use the Slavery Grievance Excerpt to fill in the graphic organizer. If students did not finish in class, they can have it stamped for full credit on Friday. 

Friday

School cancelled due to Tenaja fire. Slavery Grievance Graphic Organizer will now be stamped on Monday for full credit.
