Students will take notes on Part 1 of The Second Red Scare. Students in period 1 and 2 will get a live lecture whereas students in period 4 will listen to the pre-recorded lecture. Students will listen, take notes, interact with them and submit them to Canvas for credit. There are fill in notes for students to use, however, if you do use them, you do have to have two types of interactions to go with them. Feel free to type directly into the word document or use the PDF version. ​

Tuesday

Students will watch "Job Switching" from I Love Lucy. 

Thursday

1950s culture lecture
Students in periods 1 and 2 will get a live lecture of 1950s culture. Students in period 4 will listen to the 1950s culture lecture, take notes, interact with them and submit them into Canvas for credit. 

Friday

the century: happy daze 1953-1960 video

Students will watch The Century: Happy Daze 1953-1960 and answer the questions to go along with the video (For 1st and 2nd period, this will be done outside of class. For 4th period, this will be completed as a part of our 50 minute class period). The questions are in order of the video. You have the option to print the questions and write directly onto the paper or you can type directly into the word document. You also have the option to write the answers on a separate sheet of paper. You do not have to write the questions, but make sure you number your answer responses. Students will submit to Canvas when complete.
