The teacher went over the 'How to Get Into College' Powerpoint. Afterwards, students were handed a brag sheet to fill out. The brag sheet will be used to request letters of recommendations from teachers. When you are done filing out the brag sheet, make sure you give it to me to make copies for you. You will need to get two letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendations are required for some scholarships, colleges, college programs and for jobs. You always want to give someone at least two weeks to write a letter of recommendation. You must ask someone in a professional setting (teacher, coach, boss, etc.). The two letters of recommendation are due November 12th.

Today is a Fun Friday for students (on a Thursday). No need to make up the activity if you are absent.
Friday

Today is a homework day for students. They can work on the college video, brag sheet or work for another class. Weekly notes need to be submitted via Canvas. A learning log will also need to be submitted via Canvas.
