All finals for all class periods (whether in-person or online) will take place on Wednesday, June 2nd, during our scheduled class period. You MUST be in class, with your CAMERA ON in order to take the final. If for some reason, you are unable to take the final during our scheduled class period, please let me know IMMEDIATELY so we can schedule a different time.
All grades will be finalized by Thursday, June 3rd. |
Please view the textbook and device return schedule for your grade level. We DO NOT need the textbook for our class, so for those of you coming in-person, bring your textbooks next week to return to the library.

Monday
Students were given the U.S. History, Semester 2, Final Study Guide. It will not be submitted into Canvas for credit. Students will have this Friday in class as well as next Tuesday in class to work on it. The final will be taken on Wednesday, June 2nd during our scheduled class period. It will be 50 questions, all multiple choice with a time limit of 40 minutes set. Students MUST BE IN CLASS, WITH THEIR CAMERA TURNED ON, in order to take the final. If for whatever reason you are unable to take the final during this time, please let me know immediately so we can schedule a different time for you to take the final.

Although this will not be turned in for credit, I highly recommend you read the excerpt from Melba Pattillo Beals' Warriors Don't Cry. Melba was the youngest member of the Little Rock Nine and describes what her experience was like during her first day at Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Before starting today's lecture, take a look at an example of a literacy test. Take 10 minutes to see if you could pass it, WITHOUT using the internet.

Today is the last day to turn in any and all work from the semester (including late work). Please be sure to send me an email with the list of late assignments you have submitted into Canvas. Students will work on the study guide for the final today. Any questions, please let me know.
